Trail #1: China Camp

Difficulty: Easy

China Camp State Park is a great place for beginning mountain bikers to get good experience with single-track trails, and for intermediate riders who want to cruise and train. This ride is mostly flat and shaded, with fantastic views of the San Francisco Bay.




Trail #2: Purisima Creek

Ride length: 12 miles (Half day)
Ride time: Approx. 2 hrs.

Difficulty: Moderate to strenuous

Purisima Creek Canyon, located south of Half Moon Bay, offers 3,117 acres of towering Redwoods, rushing creeks, berries, wildflowers, and magnificent views of the Half Moon Bay coastline. But most importantly, it holds the longest continuous downhill single-track trail in the Bay Area.

The twelve mile ride will take you to an elevation of 1600 ft. You'll begin the ride climbing a fire road shaded by the amazing Redwoods which provide you with constant fresh air. the downhill is approximately 4.5 miles of clean, fast single-tracks. The breathtaking ocean views and trails will give you the ride of your life.






Ride #3: Wilder Ranch

Wilder Ranch State Park is comprised of approximately 60,000 acres with a maximum altitude of 800 ft. It offers 33 miles of the best cross-country riding in the Santa Cruz area, of which 85% is single-track. The park has 20-25 different loops to choose from. Each loop will give you a different landscape experience. You will ride through beautiful creeks and shaded trails or enjoy the open spaces while facing the Pacific Ocean.
